Adv. Amit Kriegel is among Israel’s leading tax attorneys. Adv. Kriegel served as head of the Capital Investment Encouragement Department and he served as Legal Advisor to the Tax Assessor for Large Enterprises, the Assessing Officer for the Central District, and the Real Estate Tax Office. Since the establishment of the firm, Adv. Kriegel has acted on a variety of complex legal issues, income tax, VAT and encouragement laws, in the framework of in-depth opinions and in representing clients before the District Courts and the Supreme Court of Israel, in cases that would influence taxpayer conduct opposite the Israel Tax Authority. Prominent cases include:

- Representing Mr. Roy Hayun at the District Court and Supreme Court, in the open issue of whether the Israel Tax Authority may collect taxes from income forfeited from a taxpayer in the framework of criminal proceedings.
- Representing construction contractors of solar facilities in motions for entitlement to tax benefits under the Capital Investment Encouragement Law.
- Representing the Rothschild Group in Israel in proceedings before the District Court and Supreme Court of Israel in connection with the application of zero-rated VAT on the group’s activity of recruiting Israeli institutional investors for funds of the Rothschild Group abroad.
